Sweet Melissa’s Good Eats in Boardman is known for their delicious salads and wraps, made from fresh ingredients. All vinaigrettes, sauces and dips are made in-house. Visit Monday through Friday 10am–5:30pm or Saturday 10am–3pm.

 

Ely’s To Go  

Ely’s To Go in Poland boasts a completely plant-based menu with dishes made fresh daily. All menu items are packaged to go, but there are also seats inside if you want to dine-in. On the menu, you’ll find everything from soup and salads to fresh spring rolls and sandwiches. Seasonal ingredients are sourced from local and organic suppliers whenever possible.

With a location in Boardman, The Simple Greek specializes in (you guessed it) Mediterranean cuisine. Served in a fast-casual style, visitors can choose to build pitas or bowls filled with grilled chicken, gyro meat, fresh vegetables, Feta cheese and tzatziki sauce. Mission Taco is known for their build-your-own tacos and fresh margaritas. All of their salsas, picos and guac are made fresh daily with locally sourced ingredients. You’ll find a huge selection of vegan and gluten free options on the menu, making this a perfect place for those with special diets.

New to Boardman, Core Life Eatery views food as fuel- the better you eat, the better you’ll feel and perform. Everything on their menu is made from scratch, using fresh ingredients that are free from GMOs, trans fats and artificial additives. Choose from hearty salads, grain bowls, broth bowls, soups and protein-packed plates.

 

Ghossain’s

Ghossain’s Gourmet Mediterranean Foods in Canfield is a family-run restaurant that serves both ready-to-go and made-to-order lunch items. On the menu, you’ll find fresh baked goods, wraps, salads, rice bowls, yogurts and deli selections. Ghossain’s is the perfect place to stop when you’re on the go but not interested in eating fast food.

Youngstown Nutrition specializes in meal-replacement teas and shakes, available in a long list of flavors. If you’ve never been before, here’s how the ordering process works:

  • Arrive and fill out an order card with the flavor of tea and shake you want (they’re meant to be sold together, but you can also opt for one or the other separately)
  • Choose to add different health boosters like collagen and aloe to your drinks
  • Wait until they’re made, then enjoy!

Environmental tip: If you don’t want to drink your tea and shake in their plastic cups, you can bring your own reusable ones from home and they’ll fill them!
