Summer is almost here, and that means live music in downtown Youngstown! In fact, there’s no better way to spend a warm summer day or night, and The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre is excited to announce an epic lineup of events. 

The venue (located near the Covelli Centre in Wean Park) has been showcasing live bands and musical acts for several years now, and with its capacity to host 4800 guests, “The Amp” brings together music lovers from across the Mahoning Valley and beyond! Whether you’re from Austintown, Canfield, Boardman, Pittsburgh, Cleveland or Columbus, you’re sure to enjoy the national acts and local legends that grace The Amp’s stage. The Vindys – Premier Bank Community Event Series

First up, it’s one of Youngstown’s favorite local bands – The Vindys – bringing their wild blend of jazz, pop and rock to the stage! The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets range from $10-$20. 

Youngstown Mega Music Festival: Featuring Cameo, The Dazz Band, and One Way

This event brings the funk with legends from the 70s and 80s! Cameo, The Dazz Band, and One Way will get you moving! Music starts at 7:00 p.m. and tickets range from $52.50 to $102. 

Youngstown Wine and Jazz: Featuring Four80East and Sharon Rae North – Premier Bank Community Event Series

Smooth! Groove out to the atmospheric electro-jazz of Toronto-based duo Four80East and the silky voice of Youngstown native Sharon Rae North. Don’t forget to try the selection of local wines available, too! It all starts at 7 p.m., and the price of tickets ranges from $10 to $25. 

Y-Live 2022 at Wean Park: Luke Bryan, with Special Guests Riley Green and Mitchell Tenpenny

Luke Bryan is one of the most successful country artists of the last 20 years, selling over 75 million albums and receiving the first Album of the Decade award from the Academy of Country Music for his 2013 album Crash My Party

Alongside Luke Bryan will be special guests Riley Green and Mitchell Tenpenny. It all starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $48.50. 

Brett Eldridge

August 4, 2022

The country music continues with Brett Eldridge’s Songs About You tour, which shares the same name as his sixth studio album, slated to release on June 17. 

The show also includes special guest Nate Smith, whose “Wildfire” went viral in 2020. The show starts at 7:30, with tickets priced between $37.50 and $75. 

Lee Brice, With Special Guests Michael Ray and Jackson Dean

September 9, 2022

The music continues through September! Lee Brice arrives in Youngstown on his Label Me Proud tour. His 2010 single “Love Like Crazy” broke a 62-year record for the longest run on the country chart. 

Joining him are special guests Michael Ray and Jackson Dean. It all starts at 7 p.m., and tickets cost between $39.50 and $60.50. 

Lamb of God: Omens Tour

September 13, 2022

Next up is the Lamb of God Omens Tour with special guests Killswitch Engage, Baroness and Suicide Silence. The concert begins at 6 p.m., and tickets cost between $49.50 and $79.50.

Night Out For Neighborhoods: Featuring 76 Degrees West – Premier Bank Community Event Series

76 Degrees West has been electrifying stages since 2001 with a high-energy style combining funk, R&B, and Motown. The 11-member band is guaranteed to keep the dance floor packed during this special Night Out For Neighborhoods event. The music starts at 7 p.m. and tickets range from $10 to $20. 

Ja Rule

September 24, 2022

American rapper Ja Rule will be performing on September 24. The music starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are priced from $35 to $119. 

Jake Owen

September 29, 2022

Wrapping up the summer is singer/songwriter and actor Jake Owen, arriving in Youngstown as part of his Up There Down Here tour. Jake has played with big-name country artists like Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Sugarland. The music starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are priced from $35 to $75. 

How to Get Your Tickets

Tickets are easy to purchase! All you have to do is visit The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre’s site! Find the music event you’re interested in (listed in order of event date), click on the concert of interest, and then hit the “Get Tickets” button.

Venue Info for The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre

Visitors should keep in mind that even though The Amp is an outdoor venue, umbrellas are not permitted. Rain ponchos can be brought in or purchased on site. Lawn chairs, unless otherwise prohibited, must have a seat no higher than 16” off of the ground. 

Additional items that are NOT PERMITTED include the following:

  • Laser pointers, air horns, or noisemakers
  • Weapons of any type or other items deemed dangerous by security
  • Large bags, backpacks, or sealed containers (including gifts for entertainers)
  • Bottles, cans, flasks, thermoses or coolers
  • Outside food or beverages (Exceptions will be made for small children’s snacks in clear plastic baggies or unopened juice pouches. 1 per child. No juice boxes.)
  • Video recorders, audio recorders or similar electronic devices, including iPads and tablets
  • Professional cameras
