In the Youngstown area, we’re lucky to have a wide variety of bakeries, each serving up their own unique creations. Scroll below for all the cookies, cakes and pies you need to get you through the holidays!

 

Abigail’s Bakery Creations

Named after the owner’s daughter, Abigail’s Bakery Creations in Austintown serves up fresh specialty cakes, pies, baklava, cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and brownies. You can order treats at the counter, through the drive-thru or by calling for curbside pickup!

Bake Me Treats

Bake Me Treats in Poland serves up a wide variety of specialty cakes and pastries, but they’re most well-known for their French macarons. At any given time, you’ll find over 15 flavors in the case available for single purchase or in boxes. Not sure what to try first? Choose a pastry box for a sample of cookies, brownies and macarons!

Butter Maid Bakery

With locations in Boardman and Austintown, Butter Maid Bakery has been family owned and operated since 1955. To ensure quality, each of their handmade products are made in small batches, including their 15+ varieties of kolachi rolls. Butter Maid Bakery also bakes a variety of holiday cookies. Don’t wait too long to place an order – their baked goods usually sell out quick!

Classic Bakery

Located in Boardman and downtown Youngstown, OH Donut Co. specializes in mini donuts topped with a variety of fun toppings. You can order by the donut, half dozen or full dozen – both in store or online. Conveniently located in the Southern Park Mall, Sugarpan Bakery specializes in creating specialty cakes, cupcakes and cookies. They are known for their brownies, which usually sell out daily.

The Amish Market in Boardman is Ohio’s first indoor Amish Market. Open year-round, Thursday-Saturday, the market features over 15 Amish vendors, selling hand-crafted furniture, home goods, outdoor décor, food, produce and (our favorite) baked goods. White House Fruit Farm

Located in Canfield, White House Fruit Farm is a must-visit attraction in the Youngstown area. At the farm, you’ll find a massive market filled with fresh produce, deli meats, homemade jams and a sprawling bakery. In the bakery, you’ll find homemade fudge, fresh donuts, pies, cookies and more. During the holiday season, cookies can be purchased by the dozen or trays. After you stop at the bakery, make sure to also take a look inside the Winter Gift Barn (open through Dec. 12), filled to the doors with locally sourced holiday décor and gifts.
