High Octane’s drive thru is open in Boardman Monday-Friday 7am–3pm and Saturday 8am–3pm. Order hot or iced coffee, milkshakes and ice cream. Bring your dog along for a free pup cup.

Stone Fruit’s drive thru in Canfield and Poland is open every day from 8am–3pm. The Boardman location offers carryout.

White House Fruit Farm | Website

White House is currently open for curbside pickup Monday–Saturday from 9am-5pm. Customers can fill out an order form online, during business hours, one day in advance, then pick up their items the following day between 12pm and 4:30pm. The order form includes fresh and frozen grocery items, freshly baked donuts (six varieties to choose from) and frozen baked goods for a take-and-bake experience.

Youngstown Retailers

Retailers all throughout Mahoning County have gotten creative over the last month, packaging their goods and services in new ways for customers to enjoy at home, while still staying safe.

 

La Ti Da Boutique | Website

La Ti Da Boutique is reaching customers through the one thing most of us have on hand at all times – our cell phones. To place orders, customers FaceTime owner Shelley Genova directly to go on a virtual shopping trip. Genova will show them clothes via her cellphone, and customers can purchase them with a credit card. Customers are also invited to virtually window shop.

 

Abigail’s Bakery Creations | Website

Abigail’s on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown is currently selling their famous chocolate chip cookies, by the dozen and by tubs of raw dough to be baked at home. Tubs of dough are $30 and yield about six dozen cookies.

The Vineyards at Pine Lake | Website

Purchase bottles of wine online through The Vineyards at Pine Lake website. Delivery is available for orders of six or more bottles (free within 20 miles, for a fee 21-35 miles). Pickup is available for orders of less than six bottles.

 

Penguin City Beer | Website

Candella Micro Distillery LLC | Facebook Page

Candella Distillery in Boardman usually bottles alcohol products but, the company is now making FDA-approved hand sanitizer. 8 oz. bottles of sanitizer are available for pickup at the distillery. Visit their Facebook page for more details.

Tracie from Burlap & Bourbon has assembled to-go crafting kits, complete with all needed materials and instructions, available via mail delivery. Check her Facebook page for an update on available kits.

On Facebook and Instagram, Covelli Centre is offering “Concerts from the Couch” that feature exclusive video snippets of past concerts hosted at Covelli.

 

Ward Beecher Planetarium | Facebook Page

The Ward Beecher Planetarium is going live on May 9 on their Facebook page to share a virtual show with followers. You can visit their page to re-watch their previous shows and check for updates on future virtual programs.

 

YSU Cliffe Creative Connections | Website

Youngstown State’s Cliffe College of Creative Arts and Communication kick started a new virtual collection of art created this year by students from YSU’s Department of Art. The collections can be viewed on the new Creative Connections YouTube Channel.

All Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County locations will remain closed until further notice, but you can use the library anywhere, anytime with an Internet connection and a mobile device.
